　 FOREST was founded in 1981 to defend the rights of adults who smoke tobacco. We take the civil liberties standpoint and provide advice on how the needs of smokers and non-smokers may be met. Our aim is to fight the growing intolerance of some sectors of society towards smokers and the increasing efforts to prohibit smoking, or to make it illegal.
